Chakra Balancing Workshop + Sound Bath Meditation for the Throat, 3rd Eye, and Crown Chakra
A 3 part series with yoga teacher Poonam Singh
1. Root & Sacral Chakra on June 13 at 6:30-8p
2. Solar Plexus & Heart Chakra on June 20 at 6:30-8p
3. Throat & 3rd eye and Crown Chakra on June 27 at 6:30-8p
Class outline: Class will start with a little theory, partnered with asanas related to the chakras, seed mantra chants and end with meditation & singing bowls.
(5)Vishuddhi Chakra – Communication and creative expression
Vishuddhi chakra, or throat center, regulates the element of space and is home to our true voice. Vishuddhi means “pure” and represents the ability to speak and hear truth freely and to be creative. In this workshop, we will discuss the physical manifestation of under-active and overactive of this chakra and helpful tips to maintain a healthy fifth center. We will do chanting of the seed mantra associated with this chakra and finally meditation.
(6) Ajna Chakra and Sahasrara chakra
This session is on Third Eye Chakra or Ajna Chakra which is associated with “Power of thoughts” and making right choices.
We will explore about this energy center that empowers our rational mind. We will also discuss how this chakra manifests itself on our physical body and mental body when this chakra is overactive and underactive. Clear, balance, and activate Ajna Chakra through mantra chant and meditation with me.
(7) Sahasrara Chakra
The crown chakra is the seventh chakra. Located at the top of the head, it gives us access to a higher state of consciousness when we are open to this gateway which is beyond our personal and social conditioning and visions.

3. Please arrive 5-10min early to allow time to set up your space and sign liability waivers.
